To clearly show us that their experience wasn’t just about damp tents and cold showers, Carol kindly requested her team to tell us their personal highlights of the trip. Below are a couple of of our faves:
“Catching the practice up the Jungfrau, Switzerland, which is acknowledged as “The Prime of Europe” and snowboarding at the best of the Lauterbrunnen-Murren Mountain Railway.”
Hey, that does seem fairly amazing. It’s possible that’s why we still do it nowadays!
“Driving our Contiki Pink Van close to the Monte Carlo Formulation 1 circuit alone, and finding to see Jackie Stewart, the famed British racing driver’s, motor vehicle. We were being also capable to wander all-around the Pits and ogle the remarkable F1 cars and experience a tiny of the superior existence of a Grand Prix. Most likely couldn’t wander the Pits now…”
Uhh, yeah…this appears extraordinary to be trustworthy, but I’m not confident F1 would give us this type of access these days. So except if a Contiki driver goes pretty rogue, I’m afraid this isn’t heading to be on an any itineraries next year.
“Pyjama Working day. We all participated in donning our PJ’s for the travel working day into Kavala, Greece. We were being to make certain we experienced our ‘under garments’ on even though! The looks we ended up offered, by the locals, when we would all disembarked from our tiny crimson Contiki van in PJ’s was so hilarious!”
Really like it. And Carol, you’ll be delighted to know we’re holding the extravagant costume magic heading! Some factors hardly ever change….
